In the 2040s, the Eminence conglomerate has dominated the North American continent, powering their operations with secret uranium reserves, extracted by an exploited Robot workforce. 

Apex is a mining Robot with an unrelenting ambition, and a singular dream: to escape the labor camp and reach the summit of the mountain that hovers eminently above all who toil in the Mineral Belts. Accompanied by his faithful companion Anker, he begins a deadly climb towards the truth.

Meanwhile, runaway Robots S0ren and Rin-1 arrive in the ghost town of Hell, New Mexico. Seeking out scarce, life-giving batteries, they're forced to make a deadly bargain with the town's sole survivor.

These two stories, collected together as a digital download for the first time, serve as a prequel to the webcomic EXHAUST.
